We are currently seeking a Junior Technical Landscape Owner to join our team in order to handle one of our key customer accounts, specifically all SAP technology-related matters for this customer.
The Job: Working closely with other Junior Technical Landscape Owners (TLOs), you will operate as the primary Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all Customer Landscapes. You will also work to improve performance while optimizing processes (such alert management and automation) and improving the end-user experience with your PLO coworkers and the Head of Technical Service Management.

You should have the following qualifications and abilities to succeed in this position:
- Understanding of OS-level system administration principles and operating systems, such as Linux and Windows.
- Conceptual understanding of relational and in-memory DBMS is preferred, with practical expertise with HANA and/or ASE being a big plus.
- Experience with SAP technology, ideally in a SAP support or consulting setting, would be advantageous.
- Knowledge in technical planning, implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP solutions, including operations for large/complex environments and installations, migrations, upgrades, and operations.
- It would be beneficial to have knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud storage platforms, and hyperscalers like Azure/AWS.
- A solid understanding of network principles, such as WAN technologies, DNS configuration, Firewall/Port configuration, NSGs, Routers, and subnets, as well as how they interact.
- Some familiarity with virtual technologies and networks, including load balancers and virtual machines.
- A mindset that is focused on the needs of the customer, with a goal of assuring customer success and attaining goals.
- The capacity to translate customer business drivers into technical requirements and then propose readily implementable solutions that satisfy their demands.
- Strong teamwork abilities, able to work well in virtual and worldwide teams in places like Mexico, Brazil, India, South Africa, Europe, etc.
- A demonstrated ability to proactively and independently pick up new knowledge and abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving thinking skills.
- Define and implement action items while identifying critical issues.
- Assist the project and engagement leads in providing customer services.
- To provide exceptional customer satisfaction, work with multiple departments within the ECS organization and outside parties, including having direct customer contact.
- Flexibility by being prepared to work occasionally on weekends or after hours when crucial customer escalations or go-lives.
Education and Experience:
- You must satisfy the following educational prerequisites and have the listed competencies in order to be considered for this position:
- Computer science, engineering, information management, or a related field with a bachelor’s degree or higher.
It would be beneficial to have knowledge of SAP technologies and products.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentational abilities are required to escalate issues and communicate effectively.
Experience:
University graduates or individuals with 1-2 years of work experience in a sector connected to SAP technology are best suited for this position. It is assumed that you have a strong foundation in IT technologies (DB, OS, network) from your undergraduate studies.
Despite the fact that this is not a development position, you should be able to read and write simple scripts, as well as update them. Although prior SAP technical knowledge would be advantageous, we also offer on-the-job training to help you improve your skills.
Language Abilities:
Given that most contacts with coworkers and clients will be conducted in English, you should have a high level of business English.
